About the role
We are a busy six-branch clinic with a growing cardiology service line. This registrar role sits inside the flagship Thamel team and supports both routine outpatient cardiology and our emergency cover roster.
You will work alongside two consultant cardiologists and a team of nurses and technicians, with regular cross-coverage to our Bhaktapur imaging unit. We invest meaningfully in continuing education and protect time for it.
What you'll do
- Run outpatient cardiology clinics three days a week
- Cover the cardiac on-call rota one week in four
- Review echocardiograms and stress tests with the imaging team
- Lead M&M and journal-club sessions monthly
- Mentor visiting medical interns during their cardiology rotation
What we're looking for
- MD with a postgraduate degree or fellowship in Cardiology
- Minimum 3 years of supervised clinical experience post-MD
- NMC registration in good standing
- Comfortable with bedside echo and stress-test interpretation
- Strong written and spoken English; conversational Nepali preferred
